You may be wondering why they are now more expensive than other offerings on the market, when before they were the cheapest. Now, every slider is hooked to an oscilloscope under power and verified to be drop-out/scratchiness free, even with a moderate amount of torque on the slider shaft. This has not only increased my reject rate, but takes a significant amount of time. For those focused on the cheapest solution, consider refurbishing your original sliders. However, the best solution has been and remains the Synthchaser Precision LED slider sets.New, modern sliders will blow away both the reproduction sliders and refurbished originals every day of the week. If your issue is with the LED illumination, simply don't power them. Installation of this kit requires disassembly of your keyboard and soldering. Later style ARP slider caps tended to shrink with age. If you have the later style plastic caps as commonly found on the Axxe Mk II (Black & Orange), you may need to slightly sand or file the slider shaft for the original slider caps to fit again.
